A great pre-writing activity is to even trace the letters using their finger. Kids benefit from writing the same letter multiple times using different methods.
Letter F Tracing
Featuring the letter F, your kids can practicing handwriting along with coloring. As your little ones color they will be strengthening their fine motor skills. Plus coloring gives them a break from forming letters.
On the first worksheet, your children can practice writing capital and lowercase F by tracing the large letters at the top of the page. Follow the guidelines, arrows, and numbers to practice proper letter formation.
Hopping from place to place, this worksheet features a cute little frog. Perfect for beginners, young kids can trace each letter within the box then write their own in the blank spaces.
There are many opportunities to practice handwriting on this next worksheet. Four full sets of lines with traceable letters for your kids to write over. Across the top is a fern that your kids can color.
F is for fox! Along with tracing the letter f your kids can practice writing in on their own. Below each set of traceable letters is a blank set of lines for them to practice writing their own. Once complete, your child can color in the fox at the top of the page.
On the last sheet your kids can trace the letter then practice writing it own their own. Along with capital and lowercase letter F, kids can trace the word flower. At the bottom half of the worksheet there are two large flowers for little ones to color!
Tip: Turn these sheets into reusable worksheets by laminating them or placing them within a clear plastic sleeve. Kids can then write on them using dry erase crayons or dry erase markers.
