Your kids can use real leaves they collect as inspiration for these coloring pages. Then use crayons, paints, or colored pencils to fill in the white spaces on the pages.

Identifying different colors found in the leaves is a fun way to practice color recognition. Kids love learning new skills in a hands-on way!

Head outside and collect autumn leaves in different shades of yellow, orange, and red.

Fun Autumn Activities

As a New Englander, I feel a bit spoiled during the fall months. Everywhere you turn there are gorgeous colors.

Bright oranges, reds, yellows, and even different shades of brown fill the landscape.

Of course, the season is often short lived, and when the leaves begin to turn it is a reminder that winter is coming!

Fun ways to experience the season

  • Paint Leaves with Watercolor Paint
  • Use Pumpkin Templates to make fall art
  • Simply make a pile of leaves and jump in!

The best part about this time of the year is getting outside together. Experiencing the beauty of nature even in your own backyard or local park.

Even taking the time to observe a few fallen leaves is so much fun for children of all ages.

Hopefully these printable pictures will inspire you and your kids to explore the different colors this autumn season.
