Skills to Practice
Coloring and creating is a great way for kids to practice fine motor skills and color recognition. My toddler enjoyed painting each of the little apples using a paint brush. He proudly proclaimed that he colored each red or green!

My goal in creating these free printables is for your children to not only color, but practice math and language arts skills.
Young children can practicing counting by adding up all of the apples on each of the trees. They can then practice letter recognition by coloring in each of the different letters on the sheet.
Art Supplies
Kids can use crayons, markers, or even watercolor paint to color in these sheets. I love that brand of watercolor paints because they last so long.
Try leaving out a few different art supplies and letting your kids pick out the ones they wants to use.
