Tip: write a tally mark on the key each time you find an object. Then add up the tally marks at the end to find the total.
You can even make these interactive by talking about each image as they find them on the page. Young children can describe each picture while comparing and contrasting the images.
As they find each item, you can even discuss objects you have seen in real life.
Do you have the same types of leaves, acorns, or even mushrooms located where you live? These conversations are a great way to get your child excited about the world around them!
