    Sunflower Coloring Pages for Kids

    Tall, bright, and cheerful, is there anything not to love about sunflowers? Kids of all ages can enjoy these free printable sunflower coloring pages. What better way to enjoy the warm weather than to get creative and color sunny sunflower coloring sheets!

    The joy that is felt when standing in front of a field full of sunflowers is hard to describe. Its no wonder artists like Vincent Van Gogh created masterpieces with this flower as the inspiration!

    Even if you can not stand among the sunflowers in a field, hopefully these printable coloring pages will bring you some of that joy. Free printables can be printed off an turned into a homemade coloring book.

    Don't forget to print off a few for yourself, these can also be used as adult coloring pages! Butterflies with flowers and realistic rose coloring pages pair well with these sheets.

    • Colored Pencils
    • Fine Point Markers
    • Oil Pastels
    • Crayons

    Gather a few real sunflowers as inspiration. Kids of all ages can benefit from practicing color recognition and trying to create the exact shades of yellow, orange, or even red that is in the real flower.

    Pair this activity with a sunflower exploration to learn more about the different parts that make up a sunflower!

    Pair these coloring sheets with a few sunflower activities or books about sunflowers. Young children will enjoy Eve Bunting's book the Sunflower House.

    S is for Sunflower

    A great way to practice fine motor skills and handwriting, the next few sheets are designed for young children.

    Let them color in the white pictures with bright yellows to create realistic sunflowers. Or let them get creative an use any color they like to make a unique creation.

    Draw the Sunflower Field

    Young children love creating line art and drawing lines. For this next coloring page, your kids can draw the sunflower leaves and stems. A great way for young kids to practice making their own art.

    Helpful Tip: If painting, print coloring pages off onto cardstock instead of regular printer paper to create a sturdier sheet.
