    Nothing says spring like blooming daffodils! These free printable daffodil coloring pages are filled with cheerful designs. Perfect for adults and kids of all ages!

    You know spring has arrived when the daffodils begin to bloom. Their bright yellow blooms are a welcomed sight after a long winter!

    Pair these sheets with some children's books about spring and a backyard scavenger hunt. There are so many wonderful ways to explore nature during the springtime.

    Coloring sheets are a great way for kids to practice fine motor skills. Plus coloring is just plain fun!

    Not just for kids, these make wonderful adult coloring pages. Add in a few different designs to make you own coloring book.

    You and your kids can use your favorite art supplies to color in these printables. Watercolor paints are a fun alternative to traditional fine point markers.

    Printable Pictures of Daffodils

    One of the first spring flowers to bloom, their brightly colored blooms attract bees and other pollinators. Standing upright, their flowers resemble mini trumpets pointing up towards the sky.

    Fun Fact: Daffodils come in all different colors and shapes. Not just yellow, blooms can be white, orange, light pink, or even peach.

    Did you know Narcissus is the Scientific name of the daffodil. This genus has over 50 different species! (source)

    Different species of daffodils will bloom at different times throughout the spring: early, mid, and late spring.

    Why not add a spring scene to the background of this sheet? Busy bees flying from flower to flower, blue sky, or green leaves beginning to open.

    Spring is a busy time of year and everything is waking up from its winter slumber!

    This next sheet is designed with young learners in mind. As they color they can practice writing their letters. Upper case and lower case D or the word daffodil can be written on the lines.

    Coloring realistic designs helps your child make connections to the world around them. Head on a walk together outside after you color to see if you can spot some in real life!

    I try to include at least one color and write page for you to use with your kids. An easy low prep activity for your children to do together. As a mom, I like to leave out a few sheets along with coloring supplies at our art table.

    A fun independent activity for preschoolers, kindergartners, and elementary aged kids. They can practice color recognition along with making connections with the natural world.
