Learning how to properly write each letter of the alphabet takes time and practice.
Before using these tracing worksheets with your kids, make sure they know how to properly form the letter H.

How to Print
- You can print off a PDF version of the worksheet by clicking the button below each image.
- All printables fit a standard 8 ½ by 11 inch piece of paper.
Use them as is and let your child write on them with pencils, crayons, or markers. Or Place each one within a clear plastic sheet. Once protected, your kids can practice their letters using the same sheet multiple times.
Simply, wipe off the writing to start over. It is best not to rush and take your time each time you write. Even spending under ten minutes working on handwriting can be more than enough time for young learners.
Letter H Tracing
On the first worksheet your child can review how to properly form both the uppercase and lowercase letter h. A fun activity is to use different colored crayons and go over the guidelines multiple times. Then practice tracing the smaller versions.
Great for beginners, this tracing sheet has boxes instead of lines. Young children can write over the dotted letters then write their own. Don't forget to color in the adorable hummingbird on the top of the printable!
H is for hermit crab on this tracing worksheet. Once your child knows how to properly write the letter h, they can write their own letters on the blank lines. You can even cut this page in half for two separate activities.
Swimming across the top of the page is a picture of a hammerhead shark for young kids to color. This sheets gives your child plenty of opportunities to practice letter tracing!
On the last printable, children can trace over uppercase and lowercase letter H. Then write over the word hedgehog. On the bottom half of the worksheet there is plenty of room to color in the picture of the hedgehog.
Integrating coloring is a fun way to make handwriting practice more fun. Plus coloring and holding art supplies is a great pre-writing activity. Young children in preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade can even trace over each letter using their finger.
