These shelled gastropods can live on land or in water. The coloring page below features a land snail hiding under the foliage of some plants.
If looking for snails outside, you usually find them in damp locations. Similar to the snail below, in real life they are often found in the shade.
On the next sheet, you can color in the snail using a variety of colors. In nature many snails have shells in shades of brown, tan, orange, and grey.
Your kids can color the picture to look like a snail you have seen in real life. Or get creative an use all of their favorite colors.
