Kids in preschool through elementary absolutely love learning about the ocean. Pair these sheets with a few children's books about ocean life for a fun mini unit!
Pictures of Octopus to Color
Found around hiding in between rocks, these ocean dwellers live in salt water. Technically classified as cephalopods, octopus come in different sizes. They are soft bodied mollusks which means they are related to snails!
Did you know that octopus have eight arms with suction cups on the bottom. They use them to capture prey including starfish.
As you color in the octopus below, you can add different sea creatures in the white spaces. Crabs, fish, and coral can all be drawn on the page!
It would be fun to print off the sheet below onto cardstock then color it in using watercolor paint. Octopus come in a wide range of colors and can even change colors to camouflage themselves!
You will love coloring in the next sheet with features three long octopus arms with suction cups. It would be fun to color in each of the individual circles along with the curved arms.

Using different shades of blue and green to add an ocean background to any of these coloring sheets. One of the best parts of coloring is adding your own unique designs to the pages.
