A fun way to practice fine motors skills is to color in each of the different stars. You can even add planets or moons in the background to go along with the two astronauts.
Waving happily, your kids can color each astronaut's suit using different colors. A great way to be creative while decorating these sheets.
This next printable sheet features a close up of an astronaut. Each of the details of the astronaut suit can be colored in using fine point markers or colored pencils. Spacesuits protect the astronaut while exploring outer space.
Your kids can even add more designs in the white spaces. Far away planets, asteroids, or additional stars can all be added.
A fun way to use this sheet is to write a story about the astronaut.
Writing prompts include:
- Where in space is the astronaut?
- How is being in outer space different than life on Earth?
- What are you studying up in space and how long have you been there?
