Like many creepy crawlies, spiders tend to blend in with their surroundings and often catch you by surprise.

Each sheet is standard 8 ½ by 11 inches. Most printers allow you to adjust the print settings if you want to print a smaller image.
Maybe its just me, but I'm not sure I want to color that big of a spider!
However, these would make awesome decorations if you are learning about spiders with your kids. Or even to celebrate Halloween during the fall.

Although some spiders look scary, they are actually important parts of an ecosystem. They often capture bugs and insects in their webs which keep the ecosystem in balance.
It would be fun to draw the background on these coloring sheets. A spider web or the spider's natural habitat are both great ideas.
Tarantula Coloring Sheets
One of the largest spiders, these animals can be found in both dry and wet habitats around the world. In the white spaces on these printables you and your kids can draw the habitat where these spiders are found!

Black Widow Spider
Many people often think of spiders as bugs, but they are actually not insects. These eight legged critters are classified as arachnids.
Fun Fact: Insects have six legs, while spiders have eight!
If you have seen these spiders where you live then you know they are black with a red marking on their bodies.
Depending on which way you look at the spider, you may not see the marking. I left it off on this coloring sheet, but you can draw the marking on the spider if you want to add one!
