- Symmetry
Exploring different shapes and their reflections is an important math concept. Many children enjoy geometry because they can visually see and explore shapes.
As your children use these sheets you can discuss reflections and lines of symmetry.
Even if your child is very young they can try to recreate the snowflake on the other side of the sheet. Exploring geometry is fun for all ages even if they are unable to perfectly draw the mirror image of the snowflake on the other side.
Snowflakes with a Grid
Each printable has a large snowflake design on one half with grid lines for guidelines. Great for older kids who want to accurately draw the reflection of the snowflake on the opposite side.
Snowflakes without a Grid
Looking for a symmetry worksheet without grid lines? The next set of printables feature a large snowflake on each sheet without a grid.
Mini Snowflakes
A more advanced worksheet to practice symmetry. Your child can draw the reflection for each of the mini snowflake designs! Another option is to cut out each of the designs and give each child one to complete.
